National Academy of Construction (NAC), is registered as a ‘Public Society’ and incorporated as a ‘Public Charitable’ Institution in September, 1998. NAC is situated in the sprawling 46.46 acres of land at Madhapur, Hitech City, Hyderabad. It is managed by a Board of Governors with Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, being its Chairman. NAC has emerged as the apex body for development of all types of construction resources, technologies and methodologies

National Academy of Construction is an ISO 9001:2008 certified Institute. It is also a Vocational Training Provider as recognized by Government of India and also represented on the National Council for Vocational Training.

The main aim of NAC is to upgrade knowledge and skills of construction engineers, contractors, managers, supervisors, Architects and workers and inculcate professionalism in them. NAC also conducts training programmes for servicing engineers of Government Departments, major contracting firms and consultants at NAC Campus, Hyderabad as well as at locations throughout the country. The main activity of NAC is to upgrade the living standards of youth in the age group of 18 to 35 years particularly those belonging to Below Poverty Line [BPL] category, by providing 3months vocational training in basic construction trades viz. Masonry, Bar-bending, Formwork Carpentry, Electrical House Wiring, Plumbing & Sanitation, Welding, General Work Supervisor Store Keeper etc.
